NEW PINSETTERS INSTALLED
FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 1955
We have just completed one of the biggest projects we have undertaken in over 50 years. In June the Braymillers made a significant investment to purchase and install upgraded pinsetters. The new units will be replacing our old faithful units that have been running since 1955. Our old units were the first fully automatic pinsetters that were available. Our bowling center is small because it pre-dates automatic machines. For the first 20 years of operation we had manual pinsetters, that consisted of men sitting on a bench behind the pins. The men would reset the pins by hand each time making it a difficult and dangerous job. Bowling was very popular in the 1940s and 50s and bowling centers were limited by the amount of men they could get to work. Then in 1954 they invented fully automatic pinsetters and it was possible to build larger centers.
This move will make for a much more efficient and fun time bowling, come in and try them out.
